Amanda Theressa Jones, b. April 23, 1875 at Winchester Ont., dau. of Alfred and Elizabeth Liscumb Jones; married Norman James Liscumb, Dec 27, 1893 at Winchester. Norman Liscomb was adopted by a Liscumb family, not related to our family. His original name being Taylor; Theressa died Aug. 8, 1968 at the home of her son Alfred in Hyde Park near London, Ontario. She and her husband lived most of their married life in and around Barrie, Ontario. Norman Liscumb, b. May 8, 1871 at Toronto; died July 14, 1948 at Barrie Ontario. They owned and operated a farm at Big Bay Point and about 1918 sold the farm and moved into Barrie, built a fine brick home. He then worked some at carpenter work and dabbled in Real Estate.

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, April 9, 2011 Alfred Wesley Liscumb of Ilderton at the age of 100. Loving husband of the late Ruth Liscumb (nee Robson). ...Loving brother of the late Wilfred Liscumb and the late Emma Rogers. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at T. Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig, 519-293-3331 under the auspices of Masonic Lodge Doric 289, Lobo. Interment to take place at St. George's Cemetery, Hyde Park. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Chelsey Park Retirement Home and the wonderful nurses at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for their exceptional care for Alfred. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Alfred.
